Get Well Soon is a music project and a band of the
German singer, songwriter and instrumentalist
Konstantin Gropper (born September 28, 1982).

Gropper worked 3 years on his debut album Rest Now,
Weary Head! You Will Get Well Soon which was
released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland by the
Label City Slang in January 2008 following lots of
positive reviews in the biggest German, French and
UK music magazines. The lyrics are known to be
slightly philosophical and cynical (e.g. Witches!
Witches! Rest Now In The Fire and We Are Safe
Inside While They Burn Down Our House). The album
entered the German Album Charts on no. 28. It also
entered the Austrian and Swiss charts and was
successful in Benelux as well. The release tour
with 19 most sold out shows was the most successful
newcomer tour in Germany in 2008. The Album was
released by NUDE Records in the UK and Ireland in
June 2008, followed by great press reviews (NME,
Word Magazine, Uncut, Artrocker, Guardian). The
album was released in France in September 2008 and
entered the official french album charts on no. 91.
In 2008 Konstantin Gropper also wrote exclusive
tracks for the latest Wim Wenders-Movie Palermo
Shooting, alongside other artists like Portishead
and Nick Cave.

The second album Vexations will be released in
Europe in January 2010, followed by a europeanwide
tour.

Putting out my debut album is the ultimate dream come true, says
Kimberly Caldwell about her upcoming release Without Regret. Ive been a
performer my entire life and everything Ive done has led up to this
moment. Im looking forward to people finally getting to know the real
me, because Im laying it all out there for them on this album.

Perhaps best known as a second season contestant on television
phenomenon American Idol, Caldwell struck a chord with millions of the
shows viewers thanks to her gutsy vocals, passionate performances, and
earthy charisma. On Without Regret, she wields her full-throttle belt to
maximum effect on a series of emotionally resonant, pop-inflected rock
songs, several of which she co-wrote. There are buoyant, propulsive
rockers (female empowerment anthem Going Going Gone and first single
Mess of You), the fiery and powerful (Cost of Love and Heart Like Mine),
as well as soaring, graceful love songs (Say Love and the soulful If
Youre Gonna Fall). Caldwell also covers Melissa Etheridges Sleep While I
Drive as a tribute to Etheridge, whose Come to My Window Caldwell
performed memorably on Idol. We kind of conceived this album as a
modern-day Melissa Etheridge moment, Caldwell says. Im a massive fan of
hers, as well as of Bonnie Raitt and Ann Wilson. I just love these
fearless female rockers who sing straight from the heart.

Caldwell strove to achieve the boldness of her favorite artists on
Without Regret by recording songs that spoke to her, such as Cost of
Love (written by Diane Warren) and Heart Like Mine (co-written by
American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and Nickelbacks Chad Kroeger), as
well as co-writing four highly personal songs: Taking Back My Life,
Human After All, Frozen, and Say Love all of which document the
different stages and emotions surrounding relationships. For Caldwell,
the overall theme of Without Regret is just being human. Like everyone
else, Ive had hardships: broken family, broken hearts, and thank God I
did because Ive been able to write honestly about the experiences in my
life that have affected me in both good ways and bad, she says. If my
music can give someone that push they need just to keep on going, then
Ive done my job.
