Til the Casket Drops is the upcoming third album from Virginia hip hop duo Clipse, set for release on December 8. It will feature production from The Neptunes, DJ Khalil and Sean C and LV. The first single for the album is entitled ?I?m Good?, and features Pharrell of The Neptunes. The album was preceded by a mixtape called Road To Till The Casket Drops, available December 1, 2008 through complex.com. Featured guests include Kanye West, Keri Hilson, Pharrell, Cam?ron, Ab-Liva, Yo Gotti and Rick Ross.

The Road follows the premise from the book of the same name. An unnamed father (Mortensen) and his young son (Smit-McPhee) struggle to survive after an unspecified apocalypse and make their way toward the coast for possible food, shelter, safety, or to potentially find other survivors of the cataclysmic events. Along the way, they encounter grave struggles and hardships across the barren landscapes, with scarce shelter and resources available to them, and having to avoid bands of cannibals and other desperate gangs looking to pillage valuables and food. Various flashback sequences occur where the Man remembers events prior to the catastrophe, many involving his deceased wife, who has a much more expanded role in the film than in the original book.

Warner Bros. Records release a digital holiday album, entitled Gift Wrapped: 20 Songs That Keep On Giving, exclusively through iTunes beginning December 1st. It’s the first comprehensive holiday album release of its kind from the label.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, Gift Wrapped features both Christmas and Hanukkah songs, and includes classic standards and unique originals — nine of which were previously unavailable — from artists that span a variety of genres.

The artists include Michael Buble, R.E.M., My Chemical Romance, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Randy Travis, Regina Spektor, Dwight Yoakam and The Flaming Lips, plus several of Warner Bros. in celebration of the life of jake drake-brockman, elizabeth fraser releases the
single, ‘moses’. a close personal friend of both elizabeth and her partner and
musical collaborator, damon reece (spiritualized, massive attack, echo and the
bunnymen, bom), jake was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in
september. elizabeth and damon feel that the passing of such a wonderful man and
great friend cannot go unmarked. a pivotal member of echo and the bunnymen, bom
and the hook ‘em boys and, latterly, a highly respected sound recordist for the
bbc, jake was a beautiful human being and adventurer who profoundly touched the
lives of all who had the privilege to know him. ‘moses’ was written and
performed by jake, elizabeth and damon and is backed with two re-mixes: the
first by thighpaulsandra (julian cope, spiritualized, coil) and the second by
andy jenks (previously of alpha and presently of the flies, spaceland).
